  • Subiect: The author makes a brief survey of the laborious activity carried on during the excavations in Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa, former metropolis of the Roman Dacia, from the beginning of systematic researches, in 1924, and until the present, a real school of archaeology with its own methods of investigations was created in this place, under the guidance of professor Constantin Daicoviciu a distinguished researcher of the Classic antiquities in our country.
