Subiect: In the early nineteenth century, in the village Dranceni, the river Prut, the district Fălciu lived a yeoman, Vasile Iamandi (bailiff of Agai Elijah Kogalniceanu), which would give rise to a small nation - "the Boyar family Iamandy from region Prut" (as he called history Ghibănescu in 1927). Inside its largest owners will amount, lawyers, academics and MPs in the latter part of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century.
