Subiect: In this study the authors present the trail of a heritage good and the steps that a museum institution makes in order to conduct a research. During the months of May to November 2009, the archaeologists from County Museum "Aurelian Sacerdoţeanu" Vâlcea, along with restorers and conservatives of the same institution attended the archaeological research from Ocnele Mari-Aval Baraj. During this research, it was discovered a Roman amphora in the complex numbered L. 12.
