Subiect: This article presents the operations made at the Museum of Râmnicu Vâlcea for the improvement of the conservation for the collection of contemporary history. The same room at the first floor was restored and better equipped. A humidifier and a dehumidifier were bought and the rollers blind were changed. The collection has benefitted of new shelves and lockers. The cultural goods were separated based on fabrics and were stored in adequate boxes and shelves, properly counted in order to facilitate the finding. All these actions will ensure a better preservation of the collection.
