Subiect: Abstract: The study is a comparative analysis on Nicolae Iorga's and
Gheorghe 1. Bratianu's life, rnentality, and work, as well as on their role in
prornoting the Rornanian and universal historiography in the first half of the
20th century. It is estirnated - based on actual evidence - that the two great
Rornanian historians were highly prestigious personalities, who have enjoyed
rnuch appreciation frorn their conternporaries.
