Subiect: In the summer of 1918, the Royal Family of Romania settled down at the Crown Domain from Bicaz. Two personalities tell us about this moment: the priests Constantin Matasă, founder of The Regional Archaeological Museum of Piatra-Neamţ and Gheorghe Verşescu. King Ferdinand and Queen Mary were described as being close to the leaded people, showing a fascination for Romanian spirituality and for the beauty of Neamţ district. To supplement the information about the presence of the Royal Family at Bicaz, we appeal to ‘The Memories of Queen Mary’. These writings chronicled the major events and she pictured with true literary talent the lands of the Crown Domain.
