Subiect: „The bishopric of Cenad is the first diocese of Latin rite attested on the actual territory of Romania. It was the suffragan of the archbishopric of Calocea, the second one in order of importance in the medieval kingdom of Hungary. From the territorial point of view, the bishopric of Cenad was located in the South of Hungary, comprising the present-day territory of Banat, and bordered in the South by the Danube. It was crossed from the East to the West by the valley of the river Mureş.”
