Subiect: The author tries, in the pages of this material, to give a first prospect about geographical, historical, ethnographic and demographical situation of Măgureni village, Beriu Commune, from Hunedoara County. It is a small mountain village, with strong pastoral influences, but totally depopulated in recent years. So it tries, based on archival and oral historical information, on photos and documents, to reconstitute the atmosphere of the last century in this area, everything to be done because of a research project developed by MCDR Deva, through the Department of Ethnography and Popular Art in Orăştie.
