Subiect: In Sarmizegetusa a couple of fragments of statues from public fountains of colonia Dacica Sarmizegetusa have been discovered. One of these pieces is representing a woman; the others are representing heads of animals. There is an obvious difference between a simple public fountain and a nympheum. The artifacts discovered in Sarmizegetusa are coming from a public fountain in the amphitheater area or from a crossing point of a road of the Ancient City.
