Subiect: Throughout time in the area of the Forum Vetus from Colonia Dacica Sarmizegetusa, archeologists discovered an important number of fragments of statues in marble. Pieces no. 8-13 were crafted in marble brought from Greece-Proconessos; the others pieces were made in a local material-marble of Bucova (Caraş-Severin county). The article analyses analogies from Dacia and other Roman provinces, and on that basis the fragments were interpreted as Imperial statues in different hypostases.
