Subiect: In this article, I tried to reveal the situation of Jews inside Transylvanian borders between the 14th and 15th centuries. As it looks from primary sources, which I used, the number of those Jews is small and their presence in the south-eastern corner of the Hungarian kingdom is purely incidental in that period. Their presence after 1501 is due, I suppose, to the migration of this ethnicity from Wallachia or other areas. It is unclear how those identified Jews settled in Transylvanian counties during the 14th-15th centuries, but it is clear that their number do not permit a deep research upon them in those times.
