Subiect: Two Possible Funerary Inventory Pieces from the Geto-Dacian Site from Cetăţeni Preserved in the Argeş County Museum Collection
The article presents two archaeological inventory pieces discovered at Cetăţeni: a fragment from an amphora from Rhodes & a fragment of an iron corselet on which traces of a strong burning could be seen. The author brings evidence that proves that they belong to the same archaeological complex, i.e. the incineration tomb no. 1 discovered by Dinu V. Rosetti in 1961 in the southern part of the Geto-Dacian site from Cetăţeni. This tomb dated from the 2nd Century BC. It is a sole exemplar in the entire archeological landscape of the pre-Roman Dacia.
