- Subiect: In February 2016 a monetary hoard was brought to the Coin Room of the National History Museum of Romania. It was found in Teleorman County in a forest near Videle city. The monetary hoard consists of nine coins: one ½ gross stricken by Ioan Albert, four polish dinars that were issued by Ferdinand I - two dinars, Maximilian II – one dinar and one by Rudolf II, three thalers from stricken by Augustus and one thaler issued by Ferdinand the 2nd. The main purpose of this article is to present the catalogue and the main hypothesis for the origins of this hoard and the value of it at the end of 16th century and the beginning of 17th century.
