Subiect: Paintings of peasants on glass. Technical and restoration issues of glass icons.
The statement deals with a double problems: the technique of peasant like painting on glass as well as the restoration of glasss icons, an artistic expression which is specific for Transylvania. In spite of their relatively young age, these icons have many degradation which are caused by the: technique and constituent materials, inadequate preservation conditions or churlish handling.
