Subiect: This article presents the concept of cultural tourism from an international, national, regional and local point of view. The study doesn't want to be an exhaustive work, because the „cultural tourism" hasn't been properly studied in Remania, being only a way of promoting the purposes of this very important field, both for tourism· and culture. The National Complex „ASTRA" Museum from Sibiu, has achieved a great level of development, through its heritage and cultural events. Today, the museum is prepared for the New Era, in which the cultural tourism has become the tourism itself.
