Subiect: The „Multiculturalism", as it is used in this work, is a derived concept. The first term it derives from is defined as „integration". · The issue of integration is oriented towards the participation of minorities in the social life, and this issue emphasizes the demands of a multicultural society. Multiculturalism cannot be reduced to a matter of integration the national minorities. A complementary term is needed in order to be oriented towards the national minority, and the evolution of the multiculturalism of the minorities can be described as a simultaneous
evolution of the integration. ln Remania the main multicultural issues regard the Hungarian and the Romany minorities and their latest evolution (concerning the integration). Multiculturalism, as a way of preserving the collective rights, emphasizes the idea of unity, in proportion as it can deal with the demands of the ethnocultural diversity, assuring the balance between the society and the ethnocultural demands.
