Subiect: The restauration of the ethnographical carpets – A way of maintainance of the old popular traditions in Banat.
This work presents the aspects regarding the restauration of the ethnographic carpets "cilimuri".
The complexity of the objects - owned to the variety of the constitutive materials and the technique of work, affected in time by the agents of degradation - imposes to the specialists in the textile restauration a laborious scientifical work and a high professional training to restare the objects at the initial parameters.
