Subiect: „There are two main categories in the conservation of archaeological wood. Namely the waterlogged or wet, and the dried out or dry wooden finds. Those require complete different conservation methods in accordance to the amount of water present in the wood structure. The conservation of waterlogged and dried out archaeological wood is totally different. A brief overview is given about the development of the conservation methods.”
