Subiect: Painter Henri H. Catargi’s letter from February 26th 1933, was presented
at the scientific session organized by the Bucharest Pinacotheque in October
2021, and completes somehow a previously presented letter from his voyage to Jerusalem.
This time, he visited Egypt, in a group of Romanian participants in a congress
organized and subsidized by the state of Egypt. The painter expresses his enchantment with the monuments he visited, but also with the wonderful travel conditions.
