Subiect: NEW ASPECTS OF LA TE ENEOLITHIC IN THE ARGEŞ DISTRICT
In the village Cornăţel, dep. Buzoieşti, Argeş county, was discovered in fortuity mode an hammer - sceptre from late Eneolithic I pass to Bronze Age. The data of hammer îs: length = 9,2 cm, high = 3,3 cm. The artefact was made în a hard rock, brown-yellow nuance, and is decorated with incissions in a horse (maybe) form into an stylisate way.
The hammer îs placed into a filliate relationship with the sceptres - "horseheads" from beginning of Bronze Age - transition (middle of IV millennium B.C.), with diffusion area from north-east Daghestan to western Balkans.
