Subiect: Elena D.A., a writer and illustrative of the feminine movement of Salaj
The study monographically deals with the multilateral activity of this personality, laying stress on its two basic sides: her activity as a writer and journalist and as an important militant of the feminine movement from Sălaj county.
After presenting the biographical data, there are treated at length some aspects of her activity as a president of the Reunion of the Romanian women of Sălaj. Her cultural activity, her activity dedicated to religious and social education pointing out the her conceptions in these fields, especially in those concerning the woman's role and place in life and society, which is an objective common to all women organizations in the county are emphasized. The study also deals with her achievements in the field of the education, especially in journalism and creation which was more important in school short drama for schoolchildren and youth.
She wrote a lot of such plays which were staged throughout Ardeal and even abroad. The study is based on documents, some of them inaccessible, from private archives.
