Subiect: Methodological aspects of wall painting restoration works in the church dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin, belonging to Rachitoasa monastery in Bacău
The present paper presents the steps required to establish the preservation-restoration project of the wall painting from the church belonging to the Răchitoasa Monastery in Bacău, as a result of the interdisciplinary approach of the artistic components. The analysis presents the purpose of the laboratory investigations that lead to establishing the proper diagnosis and the optimum intervention strategy in the particular case of the monument that is subjected to an elaborated process of structural consolidation.
