Subiect: The author underlines the fact that after 1867, when the dualistic Austro-Hungarian
regime was set up, the inhabitants of Transylvania found themselves deprived of the most elementary rights, being subject to an increased national exploitation and oppression . After the aprobation of the law by which Transylvania was incorporated to Hungary, some other Iaws were issued whch stipulated new measures in order to prohibit the use of the Romanian language in confessional schools, to diminish the ecclesiastical autonomy, to organize numerous trials etc.
