of Europe etc. The article The article deconstructs some of the central arguments
of protochronism, exposes their inconsistency as well as their continuity with old
fashioned ideas promoted during the second half of the 19-th century (Cezar
Bolliac, Bogdan Petriceicu Haşdeu), ideas that reached their apex in the early 20th
century through the work of Nicolae Densuşianu, Dacia preistorică (1913), and
warns on the potential danger genera/ed by this protochronist movement.
