Subiect: Why a teaching project on the theme DEPORTATIONS IN BARAGAN in
highschool classes? In support of this option, the first argument is that the elements
of local and national history, skillfully integrated into the teaching of history, have a great educational value. Curiosity, interest that local historical record awakes and unpublished information from archives, museums, libraries, interviews with dissidents or those who have been deported and the emotions that are aroused ,all
these constituie a favorable condition for the successful study of this sad memory
event that happened 60 years ago. Besides, exposing a rich factual material, developed throughout the years analyzing moments and aspects of communism and repression characteristic of that age, these tragic limes do act strongly, directly
upon students' thinking andfeelings.
