Subiect: Brasov cinemas in 1916
This study based on local media announcements, presents the activity of Apollo Bio and Omnia Kino cinemas which operated in Brasov, in 1916. The cinemas had various programs including all genres movies, documentaries, news from countries that were not at war with Austria-Hungary. Each cinema screened every day two or three projections and tickets were sold for different kind of audiences. The influence of war on cinemas manifested by screening a relatively high number of propaganda movies reflecting the war as well as through Messter and Eiko news programs.
