The conceived dictionary dealt also with etymological issues, neologisms and provincialisms and was finished in 1913. But the attempts to have it published by the Romanian Academy or by the Ministry of Instructions, have failed completely. It was published by the Catholic Church in Iasi in 1500 volumes on the 20th June 1940. Because the dictionary included the map of the Big Romania and a patriotic text which the author named “Nistru's Guard”, the dictionary was excluded from all libraries in the country and was burned in 1950.
