Subiect: From the beginning of the Bronze Age, the incineration rite of dead was usual. Historical sources (Herodotus and others) appreciated the joyful character of death. From our point of view, we presented a few pieces of pottery from the settlements of Balta Sărată and Iaz (Balta Sărată Bronze Group, respectively Basarabi Culture) which are parts of a ritual banquet after the cremation of human bodies.
