Cronologia unui complex vincian din Banat pe baza extragerilor din bazele de date

  • Subiect: The present study certifies the late chronological framing of the Vincian Neolithic site in Balta-Sărată (Caransebeş, jud. Caraş-Severin). The statistical analysis of the pottery material emphasized the typical features we met. The archaism met at the first level, Vinca A3, can be linked with the phenomenon met in the early horizons of the Vinca culture. The hand - marked pottery still exists, but it becomes smooth during the B1 stage. The polished pottery decreases; the pseudo-blacktopped in which the black and red contrast is not so increased replaces blacktopped species. The straight lines monotony is minimized due to the curved lined pots. Deals of general changes in Banat region and individual changes in our case are noticed. Level B1, chronological horizon B1/B2 is decisive to Balta Sărată. The well - burned pottery contains sand and small stones. The chromatic spectrum maintains here the dark nuances (brown, black, black - grey, brick - coloured. The cups feet are painted with an elegant red. The decorative technique uses the straight cutter lines bands, pointed bands and folded bands. The finger – marks placed under pots top remain but does not exist as in A2-A3 stages. The mat - marks on the bottom of the pots are frequent in chronological horizon B1/B2.
