Comunităţi rurale de pe Valea Almaşului - identităţi etnice

  • Subiect: The rural communities from Valea Almaşului - ethnic identities This paper brings to the attention of specialists some aspects related to the traditional village on the Almaş Valley, Sălaj and the multiple transformations it has undergone. Because knowing the reality of contemporary villages is a primary duty of us, field researchers and ethnographers, we have undertaken a research in 2018– 2020 in all villages in the Almaş Valley, villages preserving the Hungarian folk costume, indoor textiles, traditional peasant furniture (painted) and the famous wooden gates. In the case of these multiethnic communities, the cultural heritage is well valued and acquires special dimensions. The multiethnicity of this area emphasizes an identity component found in each of the fields of material and spiritual culture.
