Subiect: „Drugănescu House was discovered during 2007-2008 archaeological research. It use to be a large building, with basement, ground fl oor with four rooms and one fl oor. Drugănescu House was situated in the heart of old town, near the church of St. Demetrius. The house was built in eighteenth century and was destroyed on 23 March 1847, following a fi re which destroyed half of the old city center. The research of this house helped us to understand the interest of the Romanian boyars class for the city life, for trade and urban architecture promoted in that period.”
